An allegory about the impermanence of human existence through time.
The presumption that mankind is the dominant species on the planet has lead us to create beautiful creations that we intend to outlive us in perpetuity. At the same time, we tend to give in to the flawed belief that our existence is anything but temporary.
Nature with its incessant, regenerative power is a constant reminder that each of us is here only for a limited time period. The natural elements that surround us and sustain our existence, as well as everything that we leave behind are perpetual spectators of our transient lives. Through this project, I wish to highlight our need to respect the natural environment and our obligation to leave a positive mark for those that follow to build on.
